LOCATION: COPPELL, TX
FULL-TIME POSITION
COMPANY: FORTUNE 500 COMPANY

REPORTS TO: SENIOR MANAGER OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Works with Team in capacity of Project Manager in meeting with the Business to gather requirements, translate business requirements/ needs to technological requirements/specifications, and work in conjunction with all business units to streamline the design of new/existing information technology systems reporting. Manages daily tasks of Information Management Team to ensure accurate requirements are gathered, resources balanced, and deliverables are in line with business needs.

Information Management Team of Business Analysts and Report Writers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.

Gathering and consolidation of business requirements from all business units to meet development initiatives and improve business efficiency and productivity. Acting liaison with external and/or internal clients to ensure business needs are met in an efficient and effective manner. Production of project feasibility reports in conjunction with project/development initiatives. Acting in the capacity of Project Manager for all Business deliverables as defined by IT for Information Management and Reporting. Translation of business requirements into specified project briefs for presentation to management, development, and IT Project Management teams. Identification of options for potential solutions and assessment t for technical and business suitability. Creation of logical and innovative solutions to complex data problems presented by business units. Creation of proposals for modification and/or replacement systems, as deemed necessary. Works closely with Developers, QA and the Business, as well as a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction while ensuring that budgets are adhered to and deadlines met.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

(Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required):

Four year technical degree or equivalent education/training and work experience preferred. Five to Seven (5 to 7) years of Business Analysis, Requirements Gathering, Report Writing, Data Analysis, and Requirements Documentation required. Experience with Oracle/Oracle Discoverer, BI Initiatives, and SQL databases required. Experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Assurance initiatives, testing methodologies, and procedures for Reporting QA/Data Integrity a plus. Excellent communication abilities with an acute ability to listen attentively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications with an ability to present and document work according to standards required. Highly organized and deadline oriented. Ability to think tactically with superior organizational skills and an attention to detail. Superior written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate throughout all levels of the organization. Motivated self-starter with ability to multi-task. Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced, ever changing and evolving work environment.
