.Net Software Developer Location: Addison, TX Contract-To-Hire for 3 to 4 months Compensation: Competitive Candidates: US Citizens or Green Card JOB DESCRIPTION Company is a provider of Emergency Department software solutions located in Addison, TX is seeking a .NET Software Developer – Level I with the primary responsibility of software development coding on the Microsoft Windows platform. Will be working with a team of skilled Developers, Clinical Analysts, Database Administrators, and SQA Engineers. Will also collaborate with the Support team, as necessary. The hours are flexible and reflect deadlines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Software development, driven by clinical requirements and analysis 2. Software defect resolution 3. Professional Requirements • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work well with minimal supervision • Ability to build an atmosphere of trust and openness • Possesses strong time management and organization skills • High level of initiative, self-direction, and accountability for actions required • Ability to develop, monitor, and track the progress of an action plan • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups including peers and managers • Healthcare technology experience is preferred • Familiarity with HL7 is preferred Technical Requirements • Three or more years of software development experience • Two or more years with web-based application development, including web services • Thorough knowledge of software development lifecycles • Experience with all Windows platforms • Strong skills with Microsoft Visual Studio • Applicable software development language skills with Visual C# and .NET 3.X • Experience with SQL Server • Object-oriented design skills Educational Requirements • High School Diploma required • Bachelor’s Degree required or 4 years equivalent experience in a related field • Industry standard technical certification preferred • Project management experience preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS_________________________________________________________ The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
