Small organic garden center needs a person to assume a leadership position in its Arlington store. Most of our customers are gardeners so we are looking for a person who loves gardening, has some plant knowledge, exceptional interpersonal skills, and experience leading a group of people. Prior experience in a horticultural-related business and knowledge of organic gardening would be helpful. The primary focus of the job is assisting gardeners in choosing plants, organic gardening supplies and garden accents for their landscape needs. The job requires someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm of gardening with other employees as well as customers

In order to offer the high level of service required, the staff is also responsible for the maintenance of the premises including plant watering and grooming, unloading product deliveries, keeping the store and premises neat and tidy, etc. Must be able to lift 40 pounds in all kinds of weather.
