Green Circle Growers is hiring seasonal service/merchandising positions (part-time and full-time) to work in local retail garden centers. This position requires an individual that is service focused, can perform some physical labor in a variety of conditions, and works well with others.

ESSENTIAL ACTIVITIES

Make regular store visits to assess and merchandise product in assigned store(s)

Communicate corporate direction to store employees

Assist stores with understanding and following their layouts, watering needs, and merchandising practices

Help set up live goods displays

Attend store and market team meetings as needed

Communicate completed tasks to manager

CHARACTERISTICS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Strong “People Skills”– works well within a team

Previous merchandising experience helpful

Teachable, positive attitude

Ability to multi-task 

Good time management skills

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Some physical labor required

Must have a valid driver’s license, insured reliable vehicle, and mobile phone

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Able to travel between stores if needed

Able to spend working hours on your feet

Able to maneuver rolling shipping carts

Able to lift, move, and carry pots & trays of flowers weighing up to 30 lbs
