Retail Store Manager - Tsay Keh Dene - Job ID 1718
Position Overview
Our client, in a remote but scenic and beautiful area requires a Retail Store Managers to be in charge of the store's day-to-day activities. The successful candidate’s role will be to optimize store sales and profitability by following market requirements and purchasing goods for retail sale.
The store manager will coordinate employee management including, screening resumes, hiring, training and acting as a performance manager.
The successful candidate will also operate cash registers, maintain inventory control and perform all purchasing duties, cash register operations and inventory. They aim to provide customers with a positive shopping experience.
Responsibilities
•Planning and coordinating store operations with retail staff during morning meetings to
•Applying marketing strategies gleaned from observed market trends and ensuring that all strategic success or failure in noted and applied to the next marketing initiative
•Ensuring the quality of customer service by providing warm and professional communication standards in all interactions with customers
•Developing the strategic positioning of the store within the local market
•Supervise personnel: training, motivation, appraisal, etc.
Requirements
◦Minimum 3 years of retail management experience. More extensive retail experience will be welcomed. Experience in personal computer retail setting is preferred, but not mandatory.
◦Strong leadership skills.
◦Ability to effectively teach/develop others to next level.
◦Good merchandising skills and a flair for conceiving and implementing creative merchandising themes.
◦Strong operations experience in receiving, stock and inventory as well as front-end management and office management.
◦Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
◦Strong interpersonal, motivational, communication and organizational skills.
◦The ability to provide "a breed apart" level of customer service.
◦An upbeat demeanor, with a sales-oriented personality.
◦Stability in employment history.
◦The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the willingness to roll up sleeves and get the job at hand done.
