1969 GMC 5305A 40ft
The original bus is a 1969 GM 40ft Wide Body 102 - model 5305A completely refurbished. This means you will be taxed on a 1969 in title only...yet actually have something much newer and still qualify for "Classic / Collector Item" license plates if you want.
Has a powerful 8V71 Detroit diesel motor with Allison automatic vs2-8 transmission. Had a complete frame up renovation and conversion with low miles on motor, transmission and rear end rebuilds. Mechanically this rig is very new and well taken care of. Includes Alcoa Aluminum Rims with fairly new tires. Peninsula RV thermo pane windows with an all custom solid white oak wood interior (no stick & staple!), well insulated make this rig very comfortable and has MUCH MORE!
The prior owner, who purchased this from the San Francisco Transit Dept, put in well over a quarter million in the late 80s and we have taken good care also. We added the satellite system, the removable work area and the cellular amplifier system. No smoking or pets have been inside this RV.
We lived in this comfortable RV full time for over six years and its time for someone else to enjoy the comforts of this luxury living.
