Inside Sales/Purchasing Representative -- East Hartford, CT
This position entails the development of client prospects through conducting research to identify potential leads, contacting qualified leads, distributing marketing materials and other sales-related activities to reach aggressive goals which are attainable only through high-volume outreach.
In many cases you are contacting existing and potential clients looking to purchase what may they may be currently throwing out.
Outbound calls required to prospect for opportunities.
Position requirements include:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to successfully multi-task, exceptional organizational skills, strong work ethic, and an outgoing personality are required.
BA/BS in Marketing, Business, or other related field and 2 years of hands-on sales experience specifically with lead generation and cold calling is highly preferred.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Highly motivated and skilled candidate can make base pay plus commission within 6 months.
