Job Description Senior Advisor for Endicott Interconnect’s Aerospace and Defense sales customer(s). This position is critical for Endicott Interconnect’s (EI) continued penetration and growth into the Aerospace & Defense market for EMS Services including: printed circuit board fabrication; printed circuit board assembly and test; semiconductor packaging substrate fabrication; assembly and test of the substrate; as well as advanced technical services such as design, chemical analysis, reliability testing, electrical, mechanical and thermal modeling of complex devices. This position is integral to EI's market expansion in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. area for Aerospace & Defense program opportunities. The candidate is expected to work in conjunction with Endicott Interconnect Lobbyist group; understand and participate in DoD programs where EI can leverage its' capabilities and services; work with DARPA to secure funding for research and development opportunities for EI, as well as uncover opportunities within EI's existing customer base for teaming or subcontracting. Personal/Career Skills and experience to include: a. 10-20 years of experience and ability to communicate, and influence senior management (executive through CEO); b) premium prior experience in Sales into Aerospace & Defense customers; c) oral and written communication skills, as well as listening skills are critical; d) ability to facilitate large meetings involving key management and technical resources; e) working Technical knowledge of the key components in a major electronic system to include software and hardware (mechanicals, assembly, fabrication, quality requirements); f) ability to learn new requirements and product offerings quickly and apply to the EI sale; g) strong aptitude to utilize technology in executing job responsibilities (Endicott Interconnect Internal IT systems tools: Sales Force [SF], Request for Services [RFS], SAP, Lotus Notes, Team Rooms, Ready Connect and others.).
Basic Requirements 1. Security Clearance
2. 10-20 years experience with “Total System Level” engineering or project management experience/knowledge – the candidate must be familiar with system architecture and development, the key milestone elements in the overall project plan including software and hardware, and qualification protocol as the product phases from R &D into qualification, production and field support for mission critical applications.
3. 10-20 years experience in the government acquisition process including a successful track record in leading and driving multiple projects through the following phases: a. Statement of Work (SOW) generation b. Request for Proposal (RFP) response c. Contract Award d. Performance to Contract e. Sustaining Activities f. Contract close out
4. 10-20 years experience in sales and/or business development functions with respect to driving new business growth in the aerospace and defense customer market.
5. 10-20 years of experience and ability to communicate, and influence senior management (executive through CEO)
Preferred Skills - Personal style is aggressive in nature. - Demonstrates the ability to continuously hunt for new opportunities for EI to serve the government customer -Requirements for consideration: a. Must be a proficient user of spreadsheets, word processors, and project management software . b. Mid Level management experience or higher required; equivalent military experience qualifies. -Demonstrated teaming skills for both internal and external customers. - Top Secret Clearance - Premium prior experience in Sales into Aerospace & Defense customers. - Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as listening skills are critical. - Ability to facilitate large meetings involving key management and technical resources. - Working Technical knowledge of the key components in a major electronic system to include: Software and Hardware (mechanicals, assembly, fabrication, quality requirements) - Ability to learn new requirements and product offerings quickly and apply to the EI sale. - Strong aptitude to utilize technology in executing job responsibilities (Endicott Interconnect Internal IT systems tools: Sales Force [SF], Request for Services [RFS], SAP, Lotus Notes, Team Rooms, Ready Connect and others.).
