Summary:    We need an engineering manager with fiberglass industry experience, compression molding of SMC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.         Molding operation of 500 to 4500 ton presses

2.         Set up and maintaining mold presses. Work with mold technicians

3.         Internal Product Quality

4.         Process Quality - molding parameters

5.         Development, establishment, and monitor internal quality performance, taking appropriate action to deter repeat issues

6.         Root cause analysis and permanent corrective action

7.         Customer Liaison for product quality

8.         Internal and External Projects, both Company-driven and Customer-driven

9.         Final product auditing

10.       Other projects, duties, assigned as needed

Required Background:

1.         BS in Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

2.         5+ years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in mid-volume mixture of automation and manual operations.

3.         Experience with  FMEA, Control Plans

4.         Experience in reinforced fiberglass industry and compression molding of SMC.

5.         Experience in assembly of SMC components

Desired traits:

1.         Project Management

4.         Self-starter, independent but able to function in a team environment

5.         Knowledge of CAD, Solid works a plus

6.         Ability to travel approximately 10%.

7.         Experience with Microsoft Project or similar project management tool

6.         GD&T knowledge and understanding

7.         TS16949,  or ISO9001 systems preferred.

8.         Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.

Bottom line requirements:
