The ideal candidate will direct the estimating activities and supervises the preparation and review of estimates from Order Of Magnitude level to detailed crew based construction cost estimates and makes presentations as required. Interacts with high level finance staff, the project’s federal partners, and a willingness to understand the project’s complex funding matter and the implications of the cost estimate. Provides estimating guidance and performs department and administrative activities as directed. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to and receives technical and operational direction from Estimating Manager or Project Controls Manager.
