Brazing Specialist - Aerospace
Forest, Ohio

As Brazing Specialist, Consultant, and Project Leader, your responsibility will be to ensure the timely and efficient completion of detailed brazing-related engineering projects while meeting company cost and customer service objectives. You'll also lend your technical expertise to design planning, organizing, and conducting technical projects or phases of projects. To qualify, you'll need to have eight or more years of related experience in Vaccum Furnace Brazing, Salt Brazing, Heat-Treat and Parts Cleaning, preferably within the Aerospace/Aircraft industry. If selected, you'll have the opportunity to earn an annual bonus, based on financial performance, which can reach 8% of your annual salary.Due to our company's position as a key supplier to the US defense industry, all candidates must possess United States citizenship.

Job Requirements :


* Bachelors degree (BA) in Mechanical or Metallurgy engineering or related engineering field.
* Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through eight or more years of related experience. Aerospace/Aircraft experience preferred.
· Comprehensive knowledge of Aluminum and Stainless Steel Alloy Metallurgy, Aluminum and Stainless Steel Alloy joining processes such as TIG welding and vacuum furnace/dip brazing, engineering theories, principles, industry practices, concepts, techniques, regulations, and policies.

· Thorough knowledge of lean manufacturing/production principles and techniques.

· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

· Basic understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes. Experience with heat exchangers is preferred.

· Ability to work with production employees on the plant floor and enlist cooperation.

· Ability to communicate effectively and make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to production floor employees, engineerings and technical personnel, management and customers.

· Ability to respond to significant inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

· Ability to effectively demonstrate team member competencies and participate in goal-setting, performance feedback, and self-development activities.
