**Job Description:**Under direction of the Project Management Office (PMO), the CMMI Implementation Specialist will participate in implementing the roll-out of a CMMI implementation initiative across the development site. The CMMI Implementation Specialist will work directly with internal teams to provide process and product quality guidance, development of quality management documentation, training, and performance of product reviews.

**Job Responsibilities:**

* Utilize CMMI experience to assist in the development and implementation of a CMMI program
* Develop strong working relationships with cross functional internal teams to establish standard documentation procedures.
* Provide guidance and support to internal teams with development of process documentation/CMMI related project plans
* Monitor project documentation and CMMI related project plans
* Educate internal teams on CMMI processes and methodologies
* Participate in project team meetings (technology, support and business teams) to providing guidance with current state process - procedure documentation and identification of potential QA and Project risks and issues
* Actively engage with project teams to understand process improvement needs
* Prepare and conduct quality assurance product reviews and process audits according to the established/evolving audit plan
* Analyze current workflows and review existing documentation for best practices and process improvement opportunities \
* Recommend and implement improvements to current processes and documentation to assure compliance with CMMI standards
* Participate in or support CMMI SCAMPI A, B, or C appraisals as required
* Create/revise documents & templates as required
* Establish and maintain version control of project documentation
* Create training documents
* Facilitate training sessions

**Basic Qualifications:**

* Bachelors degree in a technical or management disciplin
* Minimum of 4 years of working knowledge of CMMI V1.3 (or V1.2 with V1.3 Upgrade Training
* Minimum of 4 years of experience involving auditing and quality assurance within a project-based CMMI environmen

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Prior CMMI implementation experience
* Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication
* Proven experience functioning as liaison between internal teams across the business functions
* Working knowledge of process improvement initiatives and models and how they are implemented on projects/within organizations
* Proven experience adhering to and monitoring and/or managing project plans
* Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite particularly Project
* Excellent interpersonal skills in order to gather detailed information from subject matter experts
* Previous experience analyzing processes and procedures in large, complex organization(s)
* Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently while maintaining focus on priorities
* Ability to perform assignments with minimal oversight or supervision
* PMP desired
