Full-time position, patrol officer with New Kent Sheriff's Office; assigned to maintain the safety of our citizens, enforce laws, regulate traffic, prevent crime and arrest violators. Will involve shift work on weekends and holidays. Will require a clean criminal & employment history check. Must have valid driver's license, be age 21 or older and min HSD or GED. Must pass testing to show physical and mental ability to handle possible harsh situations. Must have or pass certification testing for policing, firearms, self defense and vehicle skills.
