The Safety Attendant (SaA) has two major responsibilities. They maintain the physical security of the building from 6 p.m. until 6
a.m. on weekends. They are On‐Call employees who are responsible for responding to guest service calls. This is a part‐time job,
25 – 30 hours per week, with Saturday and Sunday work.
The SaA reports to the Property Manager (PM).
Essential Functions / Job Duties
At various times during each week, the Safety Attendant will be in an active service status or on‐call status. At other times during
the week, the SaA will be completely relieved of any duty requirements. The SaA is required to reside on the property.

From 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday the SaA is typically relieved of
any duties or requirements. None of this time is considered to be working time. We strive to schedule Safety Attendants to
work six (6) days per week, with one day off every week and two days off every fourteen (14) days. The Property Manager will
determine the best schedule for the property.
Active Duty Time
SaA will be scheduled to work active status at least twelve (12) hours per week. The Property Manager will inform the SaA of the
active duty work schedule each week. The schedule can change daily. When the SaA is clocked in and on active duty time, the
SaA must remain on the premises and be available to perform the job functions as directed by the Property Manager. During this
time, when not directly serving a guest, the SaA is to remain visible on the premise and assist guests and perform specific duties
