Hello, my name is Carrie Matchem. I am searching for a job in the optometry field. I have been a eyeware associate since January 2008. I have worked for the Corporation of Walmart starting: November 7, 2007. I started out with the company by building the new store. I worked in the Vision Center up unto June, 2011. My duties went as followed: I would assist my patients by getting them set up taking them into the doctors office to be prepared to see the doctor. I would then take there eye pressure and auto refractor and have them have them fill out there personal information and why they are there to see the doctor. Upon seeing the doctor, they were done. If they decided upon eyeware i would then help them choose frames and fit them for what they selected. We also did there (PD) measurements as for the eyeware order. Also my other duties included: doing insurances, on occasion I ordered frames when needed for a patient. I also did modular changes, and did the daily markdowns. cleaning frames and basically keeping up with the daily routines of the store. I believe I would be a good candidate for your company, for I am a hard worker, I am always on time, I really care about my patients, and I am a very friendly person. I am detailed orientated, I like to have everything in its place. Basically I like order. I can relocate anywhere. Also if there is any chance to find out if you are willing to pay for relocation. I put my very best into all that I do, and I believe I would be a great asset to your company.
