My name is John and I have been playin the guitar for 37 years. I am able to play various styles of music{Rock & Roll, Country, Blues and Jazz. My personal favorite is Hard Rock. I have written original music since 1975. Istarted playing guitar at the age of 8 and still play to this day.I am a self-taught guitarist and have always had a burning desire to play. Learning from various musical artists' styles helped me to understand that you must be your own player. There are very important steps to learning an instrument Example: Tuning by ear, timing and checking for perfect pitch/ tone deafness. All of my students will learn all the notes on the fret board, cord structure,finger picking & scales. As a student learning these first steps, that student will be able to proceed in learnin from there. I look forward to sharing my teachings with all my students-from beginners to learning other artists'music.
