Desktop Support Services

Our client is seeking a short term (approx. 6 month) contractor to provide assistance to microcomputer users in the planning, procurement, installation and maintenance of microcomputer hardware and software; providing hardware and software support to PC users within an assigned territory. The selected candidate will be responsible for installing COTS products, In-House applications, product optimizing, ghosting, installation of PCs, printers, scanners and other PC peripherals. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP
• Knowledge of Mac OS X
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003
• Knowledgeable of hard drive imaging processes
• Experience with Exhange Email and Calendar with Outlook client
• Experience with imaging COTS applications
• Ability to manage tasks and meet schedules
• Must have good organizational and communication skills, written and oral
• Must have excellent customer service and teamwork skills

Preferred:
• Experience with Trend Micro Anti Virus
• Experience with SAP
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Bentley Microstation, Oracle Client


Duration: 6 months
