Status: Full Time, Employee Reference Code: DR - 110 - 3020 Job Location: Thornhill, ON Country IM Lead Role MISSION: Be the primary support line for information at country level; leading and managing cross functionally the local team, being liaison between country, and region. Providing country and region, timely, accurate, efficient, and consistent information. CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES 35% Cross Functional IT leadership: * Develop and maintain a current and in-depth knowledge of internal data sources and reporting tools in order to act as an expert consultant. * Knowledge on infrastructure behind the scenes  Will understand data marts, databases, all different layers and data source * Mastering meta data * Mastering reporting tools * Maintain high level of interaction with Regional and Country peers across function serving as the liaison between country and region. * Take a leadership position in cross functional issues and questions. * Submit requests for certification of ad hoc report to regional IT. 30% Technical Support. * Act as a go-to person for any reporting related question (including security, tool, data, batch) * Troubleshooting BW report related issues. * Provide assistance for report tool questions. * Will perform technical testing and data reconciliation with source system, data validation * Monitor Report usage * Reformat query or workbook, create ad hoc report/ query. * Security maintenance * Performance/Batch Monitoring & Communication * Report Expiration Monitoring & Communication * Acknowledge what data is needed, where it is stored, and how to get it. * Support and maintain tools and processes to provide feedback 20% Cross functional coordination: * Ensure testing on new certified X-Functional reports * Ensure regression testing is done properly. * Act as facilitator in cross functional report needs. * Provide training on reporting tool * Ensure training is designed and delivered so users understand how to run reports and utilize the information provided. * Drive/ coordinate meetings for country COE. * Ensure process is followed. 15% Participate in Global Information Projects and Lead Regional Initiatives. * Participate in writing standard certified country and regional reports * Participate in projects that enhance or modify systems, or projects that improve timeliness, accuracy or efficiency of information required to support all processes. CORE COMPETENCIES Technical/Professional Knowledge: 3-5 yrs. Excel/Bex/Cognos/BRIO/SQL (or other analytical reporting tool) experience. Able to speak, and understand the language of business, and the language of IT, at sufficient depths to work effectively with both groups! Cross-Cultural Skills: Works with several diverse cultures.
