Our Information Technologies division works in partnership with other areas of the Company to develop and support the business systems used throughout Nordstrom. Working in a dynamic, collaborative team environment, the Project Lead will provide project related enhancements to implement mission-critical business solutions. As a member of the Nordstrom Supply Chain Systems Development team, you'll lead cross functional teams on mission-critical production software development and enhancements. You will also work in partnership with Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Project Leads from other teams, business partners, and users to ensure successful delivery and implementation of projects and processes. You will meet ongoing and overlapping deadlines in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple assignments simultaneously, and have the ability to coordinate deliverables and dependencies with other groups. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 3 years professional experience in a software development environment Minimum 2 years experience leading and defining business, informational and analytical requirements Experience in how to follow and adhere to a Software Development Life Cycle Supply Chain, PkMS (Manhattan), and iSeries experience preferred Retail experience a plus Warehouse Management experience a plus BSCS or equivalent experience RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with a variety of IT and Business groups to analyze, develop and document technical requirements for projects Work closely with business and other IT staff to identify application development solutions, new or modified programs, or integration of purchased solutions or a combination of the available alternatives Exceptional technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills are a must Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple efforts concurrently Regularly interact with IT Leadership on project status and resource allocations, as well as department-wide efforts The above information on this definition has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
