Sr. Webmethods Developer $90,000.00 Cleveland , OH Role Summary or Scope: -WebMethods Integration Developers apply their software engineering experience and knowledge of WebMethods products to design, implement, test, maintain and support various Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Business-to-Business (B2B) integration initiatives -This position handles multiple priorities at the same time and should be willing to acquire and work with new technologies -It requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to effectively interact with various teams and leaders in the company -Plays a consultative role on various projects providing integration domain thought leadership by championing integration best practices and identifying potential integration pitfalls Qualifications Requirements: -4+ years experience with Java and webMethods platform, at least 1 year on webMethods 6 or greater -Familiarity with java and webMethods java API (both Broker API and IS API) -Working knowledge of Web Services (XML, SOAP, Schemas) Technical: -Proficient in general programming practice and be a master of at least one programming language (preferably java) -Proficient in webMethods products, particularly integration server and broker (preferably version 6) -Proficient in and has a working knowledge of web services and related standards such as SOAP, XML -Has a thorough understanding of JDBC adapter -Has an above average knowledge of databases and SQL -Handle multiple priorities and projects and manages time effectively. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain working relationships with analysts and other teams -Understand and prioritize problems and good problem solving skills -Has excellent communication skills and ability to interact with various teams and people at both technical and non-technical levels -Explain complex software concepts clearly to stake holders -Independently learn new skills and rapidly acquire working knowledge -Interact with external partners clearly and professionally -Perform support functions and quickly solve production related issues. Summary: -Experience in using WebMethods IS/Trading Network 6.X -Experience in working with WebMethods clustering, reverse invoke -Experience with production support on Globally integrated systems -Experience with flat file parsing java programming -Experience with web security issues e.g. authentication, encryption, firewall, SSL and authorization -Experience with Web Methods JDBC adapters, Web Sphere MQ adapters & MIS Module -Experience with Oracle DB -Experience with web development (HTML, JavaScript, JSP, Servlets, etc) & WebMethods DSP -Experience in integration with MQ server
