People of authority or esteemed figures are not always as truthful and honest as everyone thinks they are.
The theme of good vs. evil. In Wicked this theme is explored in showing the difference of what seems good and what really is good.
The next theme Wicked touches on is how the public accepts or rejects things.
The theme of beauty is explored when Galinda gives Elphaba a makeover.
