Autism Intervention Specialists (AIS) is privately funded organization that works to provide services to clients of all ages who are diagnosed on the pervasive development disorder spectrum (autism, Asperger's, PDD-NOS, and other related disorders). We are looking for part time ABA instructors to provide home and center based services. We have a staff of 10 BCBA's who work as a team to provide the highest level of services including naturalistic teaching methods, discrete trial training, social skills and executive functioning training, pivotal response training, and the T.E.A.C.C.H. program. BCBA's will provide both group and 1 on 1 training and supervision to ABA's to ensure consistent and effective application of teaching methods. We have immediate openings in the surrounding Greater Boston Area, Central and Western Mass, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Rhode Island locations. Hired ABA professionals will have unlimited growth potential in a rapidly expanding organization that is dedicated to meeting each client's individual needs.
Responsibilities:
•Accurately implement structured and individualized programing (behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition) developed by the BCBA, Board Certified Behavior Analyst
•Follow specific behavioral and skill acquisition management guidelines for each client
•Work as a team member to ensure delivery of high quality intervention across environments
•Record accurate data collection and graphing for each program
•Facilitate structured peer group activities as appropriate
•Promptly and appropriately communicate problems/concerns with the BCBA or other appropriate administrators
•Complete daily documentation of service delivery for each client served
•Maintain confidentiality and privacy of all client specific information (as required by HIPPA)
•Perform other duties and assignments as requested by the BCBA
Qualifications:
•Bachelors degree, or enrollment in a degree-granting program, (or higher) in Special Education, Education, Psychology or a related field or 2 years experience working with clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, clients with moderate/severe disabilities or related disorders
•Demonstrated knowledge and experience in ABA intervention including data collection
•Demonstrated ability to accurately and consistently follow Behavior Support Plans
•Effective written and oral communication skills with families and administrators
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook
