Trade or technical school graduate with a mechanical major or a high school graduate with equivalent knowledge and experience working in the mechanical and/or construction field. Refrigerant License preferred. Two years experience working on mechanical, plumbing, H.V.A.C. and steam systems. Experience in the use of electrical arc and gas welding and soldering equipment. A certificate in welding is preferred. Experience in the construction trade with an emphasis on wall and ceiling structures, working with metal studding and door systems and working with concrete and floor systems. Basic know- ledge of boiler operation and chilled water systems. Experience in associated trades necessary to provide assistance to other mechanics and/or initial assessment and repair to all types of equipment and systems.
