Primary responsibilities for this position include: Splice fiber optic cables using single and mass fusion equipment Terminate fiber with pig tails or Unicam components Test fiber using Optical Time Domain (OTDR) or power meter and light source, field testing with a light identifier Completes copper cable installation by using a variety of splicing methods including MS-2 modules and associated equipment, 710 modules and equipment, Scotch-locks, and various punch down systems.
