Respond to this AdTo provide and promote healthy behaviors through learning core values such as leadership, respect, integrity, sportsmanship and responsibility through exercise, nutrition and sports-related activities. The primary goal is to expose fitness and wellness at a young age and to decrease the likelihood of preventable illnesses like heart disease, diabetes, and obesity.
About Rising Stars:
A fun and challenging sports & fitness program for kids that focuses on exposing kids to various sports by incorporating physical fitness, nutrition and core values that relate to strengthening the mind and body. The core value’s will include the “Champions of Character” model that emphasizes the development of positive decision-making that will help them be successful in life and in sport. These core values focus on Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship and Leadership. Each child that is involved will receive a “Champions of Character” certificate of participation award at the end of the program. Kids will also experience a variety of sports such as basketball, soccer, flag football, baseball/softball and much more. They will also engage in all aspects of fitness through agility, speed, power, coordination and strength.
Outcomes of Rising Stars Program:
ü Kids will learn the importance of fitness, nutrition and wellness.
ü Kids will engage in hands-on activities that will enhance creative thinking.
ü Kids will be exposed early to a variety of sports and personal coaching.
ü Kids will learn to importance of the five core values that will help them be successful in life.
Program Length:
§ New session begins: September 10th through October 12th 2012
§ 5 Weeks
§ Monday through Friday (5 Day Camp for 5 weeks)
Pricing:
§ Members and Non-Members $60 per week/per child
§ Enroll per week OR for all 5 weeks!
§ $240 per child for FIVE WEEKS
§ Easy monthly fees paid via check or directly deducted from bank account (auto bill pay)!
Times/Ages:
§ Kids 3-6 years old – Session 1: 8:00am-10:00am
§ Kids 7-11 years old – Session 2: 10:00am-12:00pm
