MUSIC LESSONS IN YOUR HOME. I teach piano, keyboard, guitar (folk, rock, classical), voice, musical theatre and medieval recorder. I am originally from New York where I had my own music studio and taught for the New York State Theatre Institute. I have a Music Degree and thirty years experience teaching private lessons. I am now relocating to St. Louis from Las Vegas where I gave home music lessons to over 100 students per week and coached numerous performers in shows. I enjoy teaching very young children to have fun with the piano before starting them on formal classical lessons. I have played guitar for over 35 years and have performed with Broadway musicals, played in rock bands, and performed as a soloist at various venues. I taught voice and musical theatre for the New York State Theatre Institute and teach both classical vocal lessons as well as popular songs and musical theatre. I also teach medieval recorder and have conducted medieval ensembles for Rennaissance Fairs both in New York and Las Vegas. I believe that music should be fun and that students are more comfortable taking lessons in their home. I teach very young children, ages 6-12, teens, adults, and seniors. I also have extensive experience teaching children and adults with special needs to play and enjoy music. I am available to teach days, evenings and weekends. I try to schedule all of my homeschooled students during the day. I offer flexible scheduling, many choices in music selection, reduced rates for multiple lessons in one home and two free lessons for every new student you refer to me.
