THE HOME: This unique log home that has a view of the ski slopes was constructed in 2008 of White Pine shipped from the Tennessee mountains. The log construction is beautifully decorated to provide you that mountain feeling. Special features include the wishing well in the front yard, log stairs, log railing and knotty pine interior walls, make this a gem for you and your family to enjoy. The home includes 3-bedrooms. The upstairs bedroom has a private bath, TV with Direct TV, and Queen size bed. The two smaller bedrooms downstairs have daybeds that include pop up trundles to sleep 2 people per room comfortably. The upstairs loft area is where those who bring sleeping bags can spread out. In the loft area there is a bumper pool/card table. There is a dryer downstairs to help you stay comfortable when returning to the snow. A remote control electric fire located in the living room can provide you the view of a real fireplace with or without hear and no mess.. The front porch includes a barbecue for the warmer weather days. There is plenty of off road parking.

ENTERTAINMENT: The bumper pool / card table and Xbox (original) with a couple games add a little entertainment when you are not skiing, snowboarding, golfing or taking an adventure on the a zipline, alpine slide, water park slides, bowling, go-carts, lake tour boat ride, 4-wheel off-road, water skiing, hiking, mountain biking, movie, walk in the local zoo, enjoying one of the weekend events that are scheduled throughout the summer or simply enjoying a stroll through the downtown shops and restaurants in this mountain hospitality town. You will be welcomed with a decorative mountain interior setting with a view of the ski slopes. The fresh bedding and linen are provided with the other luxuries of a new home.

LOCATION/NEIGHBORHOOD: The neighborhood is quiet and located outside minutes outside the town. The log home backs up the San Bernardino National Forest land. Directly behind my property is a hillside area that is covered with pine trees from the bottom area up to my property line. I was told that the upper half of the hill was burned in a 2006 wild fire. There is one old log home to the south and another home immediately to the north. In front of the place is a large open hill that can be used for sliding (sleds are on-site for your use) when any accumulative amount of snow fall is received. Just down the road about a mile towards town in the pines is local area for sledding that is free. Just park on the side of the road and enjoy. Directly behind the home is the Pacific Crest Trail.
