Outreach seeking volunteers

Jars of Clay is a non-profit organization that operates a very busy social service program and children's shelter right here in Atlanta. We are seeking volunteers to help us with both service and goods. Our next large event is to help with turkey baskets for Thanksgiving or goal is to gather 450 baskets to distribute to the working poor and stock our food pantry. In December we are helping with Christmas. We gathering 6,000 toys and teddy bears to service more than 600 families in the Atlanta area. Many of which graduated from our shelter and are still considered the working poor (incomes of less than $1,000) a month with a family size of 3 or more. Your support would be tremendous and your volunteer strength would be sensational and useful. December 15th through December 24th we are hosting a 10 day Christmas carnival and we need about 40 people to work each day. Carnival Shifts begin at 7pm and end at 9:30pm. Day shifts have open hours (any time, any hand) during these shifts volunteers will set up toys for the carnival, pack toys for the clients, and organize for the events. Each year we utilize more than 400-600 volunteers for just November and December.
