This boat is for fishermen. It has a 115 HP Mercury Optimax and will cross big lakes quickly (top speed 51 MPH). The 9.9 kicker is perfect for lakes with a 10 HP restriction and gives you the added peace of mind knowing the second motor will always get you home. The electric trolling motor also gives you access to lakes restricted to electric motors only.
The two electric 20 pound anchors (front and rear) allows you to anchor in a fixed position, even in a strong wind. The open deck bass boat configuration enables you to easily fight fish no matter which direction the fight takes you, even if it’s in a circle, and landing them is much easier too, you’ll lose fewer fish.
It’s a 2012 Lowe model ST-18HP Stinger with a Mercury 115 Pro XS Optimax 2 stroke. Lowe made a promotional video of this boat, you can see it here on you tube:
It is 18' 2" long, with a 85" beam and 20" transom height. The hull is rugged all welded construction, weighs 1060 pounds and it has a 19 US gallon fuel tank. Standard features include two live wells with dual pumps, 2 pedestal seats (can easily be mounted on deck, or raised with pedestal), a Lowrance X-4 pro fish finder, 16 oz marine carpet throughout, MotorGuide 46# thrust 12V trolling motor, electric bilge pump and running lights.
In addition to the standard features it has a Bimini convertible top for rainy days, front and rear electric 20 pound anchors, a 15 HP Mercury 4 stroke pro kicker with power tilt and remote controls, a racheting boat cover and the stock trailer was upgraded to a Karavan Trailer with surge brakes and a swing-away tongue.
I paid $32,250 USD ($42,970 CDN) for it brand new from Missouri River Marine in Great Falls Montana on May 2, 2012 (copy of original invoice available).
Not just for fishermen, this boat will easily double as a ski boat.
This boat is in excellent condition with very few trips on it. Asking price, $28,500.
