Description

Bible study guide, please print this out and study all verses quoted before you reply. I use the KJV Bible only. If you disagree with this, just disregard it; we can still be friends. Thank you.

Far too many have been deceived into believing that their salvation can be bought; wrong answer. Many so called preachers tell you to send them money, (sowing a seed is what it is normally called), in any amount; the more the better. Who is it better for? There is wisdom in this saying; A fool and his money are soon parted! Throwing money at this problem doesn't solve it. Should you tithe? Yes, if you can. Tithe for the right reason though. Tithe where you are fed the truth from God's word. When one tithes where God's truths are shared, God's kingdom grows. That is the real goal; it is never a selfish act. So many only are concerned with themselves and not others. Support Christ's doctrines only; see 2 John verses 9 to 11. Study your Bibles completely, get the whole picture. Start with the following verses and learn some truth.

Proverbs 11:4 Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death. (See Psalm 49:6-12 also).

Ezekiel 7:19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

Zephaniah 1:18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

Acts 8:20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

[Do you think His gift can be bought? I certainly hope not].

1 Peter 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
1 Peter 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Please read the above verses very carefully. Salvation, the holy spirit or God's blessings can't be bought friend.

Do you still believe you can buy His blessings, your way into heaven or the holy spirit? I certainly hope not. Continue to study your Bible cover to cover.
