Deuteronomy 30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
[He gives us two choices only. There is no third choice. Choose life and receive blessing. Choose death and receive cursing. This applies even to everyone of us today. God recommends choosing life; the best advice you could ever get]!
Deuteronomy 28:1-14; blessings.
Deuteronomy 28:15-68; cursings.
This is all conditional based on the small word “if”. We all must choose between the two, blessings or cursings; there is no third choice.
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
[You get exactly what you ask for, so be careful what you ask for].
Many ask, why is my life going the way that it is? It is really quite simple. It is based on choices you have made up to this point. Might be a good idea to examine this possibility and look at the decisions you have made in the past. Make better choices from here into the future; do things differently!
If you keep making the same kinds of choices, you will get the same results. I heard one time that the definition of insanity is doing things the same way each time, but expecting a different result each time. Sounds like something insane to me. Again, try doing things differently, show some faith. We all must make a choice which way to go.
(Also, see these related verses [still just two choices]: Joshua 24:15; Matthew 6:24 and Revelation 3:16).
