A bit of wisdom from Warren Berkley's Proverbs class on Fools found on youtube.com.

Paraphrased - "When you find a negative command or example in Scripture, not just in Proverbs, go find the POSITIVE opposite."

Many of the Proverbs are already set up that way but this does apply to all Scripture. For example when Scriptures tell you not to lie or steal or murder you can probably find a Scripture to tell the truth, to work, and to live peaceably with all men. Do the positive not the negative.
