It's time to let go of my 1988 GTX. I've had five of these and I just went over to the dark side (2004 VW R32).
The car was sourced in Dallas after a light front L fender bender. Frame was checked and straightened. It has new paint (2014) and has been Winter driven in Wisconsin for four seasons. The car runs well. The clutch was replaced 10,000 miles ago. The hatch struts no longer can keep the hatch in the up position. The rear window defroster does not work. The seating portion of the driver's seat has finally started fail. (There are two 4 inch tears.) It comes with a pile of parts. I can attach the list to any inquiry. i also have pictures of some of the parts, and I have a lotta pictures.The car has it's original motor/trans. (200,413 miles). I also have a rebuilt motor (rod bearings, exhaust valves, turbo and rings) that was done 10,000 miles ago. I have a seized motor for what ever parts are still good. I also have a 127,000 mile transmission which was good when it was removed for a new oem crate trans. I also have a working transmission with a broken off output shaft from the center diff. section. (It ran well as a FWD car before I replaced the transmission.) I have 4 sets of wheels (two OEM-one set with Hakkapeliittas, one set with no tires, a set of American wirebasket gold with a polished lip and General Altimax all-season tires, and one set of Mazda RX7 GSL-SE wheels and Blizzak snows.
I'm asking $5,495.00, but will consider all reasonable offers. I'm not interested in any trades.
