This genuine, factory-built Le Mans model is authenticated by the 100M Registry and its Gold Certification by the Austin-Healey Concours Registry. Built on September 9, 1955, it is a matching numbers, original left-hand drive US-delivery example that received a body-off restoration that was performed to very high standards of correctness and quality over a two-year period by noted restorer Martin Hveem of Red Bluff, California. Prior to restoration, the car was remarkably complete and retained all of the original, factory-installed components that formed the 100M Le Mans package. During the exacting process, Mr. Hveem utilized original fasteners for heightened authenticity, and both the Healey’s engine and gearbox were completely rebuilt in-house as well. The Healey starts and runs well and features all the proper 'M' engine upgrades and exterior features characteristic of the 100M. One of just 640 100M “Le Mans” cars were produced.
