Position: Finish carpenter

Wage: CAD$30.00/hour

Types: Full-time, Permanent

Working hours: 30~40 hours/week

Benefits: 4% of vacation pay, Extended medical insurance

Job Duties:

• Interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and requirements;
• Measure and prepare layout details in compliance with building codes;
• Calculate the size and amount of material needed based on measurements;
• Cut, shape, smooth, assemble and join wood and other materials according to measurements;
• Fit, install, and finish carpentry of interior trim, baseboards, stair railings, crown molding, and casing around doors and windows, etc
• Repair and renovate finish carpentry of residential and commercial properties.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school;
• Completion of a three-to four-year apprenticeship program or a combination of over 4 years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in carpentry.
