Would your family like one of those cute golden doodles, but don't like the high price tag? If so, this may be for you. Please read on.
I am looking for a guardian home for one of my breeding mini golden doodles. She's 5 months old, should me about 20lbs at maturity and she loves people. Are you familiar with what a guardian home is? Simply stated it is a situation where I place one of my breeding females (will start to bred at 2 yrs) into a family's home. The dog is completely your family pet. It does not cost you anything to receive the dog. Your job is to love, train, and care for the dog as your family pet. When it is her time to breed, I pick her up (or sometimes bring the stud to her) for the day. She is back with you until delivery. Three days before the delivery date she comes to my house and will deliver and wean her babies. (about 4 weeks). Then she is back with you until we repeat the cycle. Usually I only breed a dog once a year and always no more than 4 times (usually only 3 though). At hte end of each delivery I give you $200 as a thank you for being part of this program which allows my breeding females to be part of a family and not in some impersonal kennel. Once she is done with her last litter, I sign her over to your complete ownership. You don't pay for the dog at anytime. That's one of the benefits of being in the program. If this should like something you'd like to explore, please feel free to ask me any question you may have and tell me a little bit about yourself.
