Designation: Production Engineer

Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR BE-Mechanical Engineering

Location: Chennai

Experience: Minimum 8 years experience in the case of DME qualified OR 5 years in the case of BE-Mechanical qualified

Job Description:

Supervise, co-ordinate for production output as per planned production schedules

Managing, controlling and monitoring - Manpower & Machine Capacity utilization

Productivity improvements and complying with Quality Standards of the Company Duties and Authorities:

Give output as per production plan

Selection and application of tools and equipments for production

Selection of cutting parameters and train workmen

Supervising manpower deployment and shift allocation

Ensure safety, health, and Environment norms

Liaison with Production Management and Design Team

Continuous improvement in production, machine usage, process improvement, etc.

Any other activity connected to manufacturing department assigned from time to time

Skills required:

Should have worked in the Machine Tools or Machinery Industry.

Should have extensive and intensive knowledge of Machineries and Machine Tools.

Should have experience in Machine Assembly and Structural Fabrications.

Should have knowledge in all machining process, inspection plans and determine process capabilities.

Should have experience in Pneumatics and Hydraulics.

Should have hands on experience in Customer Support/Service in a machine tool Industry.

Should have intensive knowledge of Control systems, PLC & Mechatronics issues.
