our customers. Murrick Insurance Service (New Westminster) is is seeking a Team Training Specialist to join our growing team. The Training Specialist plans, organizes, and directs initial and ongoing training activities of the operational teams to ensure that company and departmental strategic goals and objectives are met.

Job Duties

• Training, mentoring and motivating teams of insurance agents.
• Develops and implements technical (insurance) training programs. Conducts training sessions and conducts assessments and proposes improvements to the training program.
• Maintains the inventory of formal technical training given, identifies future training needs and evaluates the effectiveness of the training program.
• Provide guidance and support to attracting, interviewing, and selecting qualified individuals to join our teams and our company.
• Conducting field training and joint field work when required.
• Works with other departments to obtain necessary services.

Qualification:

• A university degree or college diploma is required
• Experience in the insurance or financial industry is an asset
• BC general insurance license is preferred
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Well-organized, flexible, ability to work independently
