The download size is about 5.5GB within on iPad after the initial App Store app is installed. I’ve been impressed with every new showcase for Honkai Star Rail and will be checking it out on Wednesday on iPad. There are currently three methods to download Honkai Star Rail on a Mac that we’d like to show you. The first two (Parallels and Boot Camp) require you to first get Windows on your Mac and then download the PC version of Honkai Star Rail. The third method uses an emulator app called BlueStacks that enables you to download and run the mobile version of the game on your computer. 

The BlueStacks and the Boot Camp methods that we’ll also show here are viable options as well, but they have certain limitations that make them less than optimal at the moment. Additionally, it’s expected that Honkai Star Rail will soon be added to cloud gaming platforms such as Boosteroid and GeForce Now, which will make playing the game on a Mac very simple and easy. When that happens, we’ll make sure to update this post to keep our readers informed about all available methods to have fun with this game on an Apple computer.
