Angela M. Ortiz, the founder of Barefoot Yoga & Wellness begin her yoga journey at the age of 25. With a background as a Pre-school Teacher, Amateur Photographer & Artisan, Angela's approach to yoga is one that honors the individual self & aim's towards improving interpersonal relations and unity. Inspired by many teachers, Angela has studied yoga since 2006, she graduated as a Certified Yoga Instructor with Angel Heal Yoga Healing Ministry in 2018, & opened up her privately owned yoga studio in the North East Heights of Albuquerque where she instructs One-on-One, Couples, Family & Homeschool Private Yoga Sessions. Angela specializes in Hatha Yoga, Raja Yoga, Pranayama Breathing, Angelic Energy Healing & Guided Meditation. Each yoga session with Angela is customized for the individual, focusing on physical posture, yogic breathing, mindfulness, listening to the body & helping one achieve personal goals. Angela describes her studio as a “secluded, peaceful atmosphere.
