Hello all, thank you in advance for reading this. I am a 29 year old female professional, and my significant other is a 31 year old male professional, and we are looking to find a quiet, peaceful home in the Madison area to rent.
Our current lease ends June 15, so June 1 or somewhere in between those two dates is preferable.
We are specifically looking for a house for rent (not a duplex, condo, or town home), and would prefer to rent in or very near the West side of Madison, though we are open to other parts of Madison and surrounding suburbs as well.
A few things that are really important to us both: peace and quiet; space (we are looking for rentals no smaller than 1500 square feet); two car garage; two bathrooms; water softener; dishwasher; at least two rooms that can be used as office/work spaces.
It would be wonderful if the garage is attached, but it's not absolutely necessary.
A few things that would be nice but aren't must haves: lawn maintenance and snow removal provided; basement space; garbage disposal.
We are both very quiet, private, clean people (he loves cleaning, and I had a very successful residential cleaning business until I moved away from that area and went into a different field), and we are looking for our last home to rent before we buy one ourselves. :)
We both have kind of crazy, odd work hours, hence the desire for a very quiet space so that we can sleep during the day if we have to work the night before. We carry renters insurance, and we both have credit scores above 700 that are on the rise, and we're happy to provide a credit report should you so desire.
We'd very much like to find a rental that is on the inexpensive side so that we can save for our first house, ideally $1200-$1500 if possible.
Thanks so much for your time, and I look forward to your replies. Photos, square footage, and a list of basic amenities included in your email would be much appreciated. :)
