Pacific Aquaculture International Inc. – Hatchery Helper

As our company expands, we are looking for energetic, self-motivated people to join our team as full-time hatcher helpers!

Position: Hatchery Hepler

Wage: C$23.00 per hour

Working Hours: 40 hours working / week

Vacation Pay: 4% vacation pay

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Work Location: 14839 BC-101, Powell River, BC V8A 0N1 Canada

Job Duties

• Feed aquaculture stock
• Operate, maintain, and clean pumps, filters, and other aquaculture equipment
• Clean and maintain aquaculture enclosures
• Transfer stock to tanks in trucks and pack stock in special containers
• Clean, sort, and pack shellfish
• Grade and weigh aquaculture stocks

Requirements:

• Completion of high school is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in commercial-scale shellfish hatchery is preferred.
