Magnolia Stellata Royal Star, also known as the Royal Star Magnolia, is a little, low-branching, flowering tree that is frequently planted as a rounded shrub. Royal Star Magnolia is particularly noted for its small size and forms a great hedge or screen. Its white flowers, which are shaped like stars, bloom best in late winter to early spring, usually at a younger age, in full light, and on soil that is just moderately damp. The Royal Star Magnolia hedge can typically endure a variety of different soils and grows substantially taller when grown in partially shaded situations.
