Labor and Employment Law Paralegal
The candidate will be managing requests for advice from HR professionals throughout the R organization. Will be handling subpoenas and other requests for employment records. Conducting legal research. Monitoring state and local employment law development that impact organizational policy. Analyzing data regarding reductions-in-force. Monitoring electronic inboxes for inquiries and new matters. Opening and maintaining case files in a case management database. Supporting outside counsel representing the organization in courts and administrative forums.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience required. Should preferably have 3+ years of relevant previous legal experience. Paralegal certificate is a plus. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is needed. Proficiency with Serengeti, or similar case management database is a plus.
