After freedom, the State Government, to get a superior regulatory framework, passed "The Puri Jagannath mandir (Organization) Act, of 1952. It contained arrangements to set up the Record of Freedoms and obligations of Sevayats and such different people associated with the arrangement of love and the executives of the sanctuary.
