The Marriott International HQ located at 10400 Fernwood Road, Bethesda, MD 20817 is currently hiring a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations and Analytics.

Responsibilities include: As a member of the Talent Acquisition Center of Expertise (COE), the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations & Analytics has a dual focus. Dependent on business demands, the individual will balance time and focus on both analytics pertaining to recruiting services, specifically performance trends and opportunity area, as well as the overall operational support and partnership with our RPO partner. The Senior Manager will work closely with the Senior Director, analyzing recruiting services data to understand performance results, identify emerging trends, and better understand existing issues. The individual will collaborate with the Senior Director on developing reports that convey information in a digestible and actionable way. The work requires strong analytical and data experience, individual initiative and detail orientation, a solid foundation in working with large datasets, and an ability to present to stakeholders. In addition, the Senior Manager will provide leadership and support to recruiting programs and services. This position will participate in the design and launch of new recruiting policies, programs and services efforts and support the COEs efforts to monitor and continuously optimize and enhance the use of existing processes and tools; drive adherence and compliance with company policies and procedures; and develop new programs, tools and initiatives to meet the organization’s talent acquisition needs. EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS TA Analytics • Identify trends based on quantitative and qualitative data to determine improvement areas, provide follow up on issue resolution and/or appropriate communication to the businesses, and make recommendations on process changes. Support the development and implementation of action plans to address opportunity areas. • Work closely with RPO partner, and HR Reporting as needed, to determine data collection needs for specific business issues, ensuring accurate and complete requirements and thorough quality assurance to ensure data is validated prior to distribution. • Initiate and manage reporting or data-related efforts in support of the COE or business partners, as needed. • Utilize RPO data and reports to conduct more complex analyses to hone in on trends, identify core issues and monitor progress towards business goals. • Work with large, complex data sets to develop reports and data visualizations, often requiring integration of data from disparate sources and clear interpretations to ensure end user questions are answered. • Consult with COE to align on the optimal illustration of data analytics to ensure it meets the business challenges or inquiries. • Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders and other team members on using, manipulating, or interpretation data and reports. • Identify problems with data or reports and engages in fixing the root cause of the problem. TA Operations • Partner with the talent acquisition team and external vendor partners to support the overall mission and ongoing execution and sustainability of management and non-management recruitment processes. • Function as a subject matter expert on Marriott’s management and non-management recruitment processes. Help maintain current understanding of TA policies, processes and technologies across the organization. • Support the development, alignment, refinement, updating, and communication of talent acquisition policies and standards, in response to changing regulations and/or internal business requirements. Work directly with HR Change Management and Communications to ensure new policies, processes, tools, etc. are communicated to end users in an accurate and timely manner. • Partner with corporate and market HR leadership teams to continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the recruiting services outsourcing model, ensure that the process, roles and accountabilities are clearly understood, and identify strength and opportunity areas for improvement. • Determine and implement strategies necessary to achieve defined objectives; ensure measurements are in place to monitor progress. • Support the expansion and implementation of recruiting services provided by PeopleScout to the organization. • Evaluate the current use of talent acquisition processes and tools, and monitoring performance and compliance through the analysis of metrics and qualitative data. • Partner with other COEs within TA, Change Management, and Communications to develop and implement communications, marketing strategies, messaging and program updates. • Partner with the Learning Organization to develop and deliver training on recruiting processes and systems. • In partnership with the TA Technology team, support the creation and review of Change Requests and RFPs when needed for quality improvement or to meet new market needs and/or challenges. • Monitor the performance of existing recruiting process and programs including key operational metrics, adherence to Marriott’s assessment strategy and background check requirements. Partner with the HR Business Process Management team to escalate issues and develop and implement recommendations on resolutions. Work with members of the COE, RPO and the TA Technology team to identify and implement business process improvements to increase effectiveness and efficiency. • Partner with the TA leadership team to provide support to the market Human Resources organization, addressing questions and policy interpretation needs, trouble shooting issues and following up on their resolution. • Responsible for own work and contributing to team, department and/or business results. May direct work of non-management staff. Assist with other talent acquisition initiatives and perform other duties as appropriate. EDUCATION • BS/BA (Business, Human Resources Management or other related field) required; Master’s degree preferred EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in managerial roles, ideally in Human Resources. • Strong experience with database software, such as Cognos, Excel, Access, etc. required. • Able to interpret data, convey results in a way suited to the audience, and advise internal partners on trends and issues. • Knowledge of talent acquisition processes, applicant tracking systems and overall talent management practices. Stays current with HR and business trends and best practices. • Demonstrated leadership and relationship building/management skills and experience. • Excellent analytical and organizational skill; strong focus and attention to detail. • Prior consulting experience advantageous. • Knowledge or experience in RPO preferred. • Hospitality experience preferred.
