Gifti is a leading gift store in Victoria, BC, that specializes in unique and high-quality gifts for all occasions. We are looking for a Media Advertising Manager to join our team and help us grow our business through effective advertising campaigns and media placements.

Wage:                                    C$ 49-55 hourly (to be negotiated)

Working Hours:                    35-40 hours working / week (to be negotiated)

Vacation Pay:                        4% of gross salary

Job Duties:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive advertising plan to drive traffic, increase sales, and build brand awareness for Gifti.
• Identify and negotiate advertising opportunities across various media channels, including print, digital, social, and outdoor.
• Manage relationships with advertising vendors, including media outlets and advertising agencies, to ensure timely and effective delivery of campaigns.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling ad copy and visual designs that align with Gifti's brand voice and values.
• Monitor and analyze advertising performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advertising trends, best practices, and technologies to continuously improve Gifti's advertising strategies and initiatives.

Requirements:

• A college diploma in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or in a related field.
• 2 years of experience in an advertising, public relations or communications officer position or in a related occupation.
• Strong knowledge of media channels, advertising placement, and negotiation.
• Proficient in using social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram is a strong asset.
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
