Horizon Land Surveys Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Officer NOC 12101  to join our team. 

Duties and Responsibilities as Human Resources Officer but not limited:

  • Posting job vacancies, and reviewing resumes and applications.

  • Conducting interviews and assessments of potential candidates and coordinating for hiring process. 

  • Addressing employee concerns, questions, and grievances.

  • Promoting a positive workplace culture and resolving conflicts.

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

  • Assisting employees with benefit-related inquiries and claims.

  • Supporting performance appraisal processes.

  • Tracking employee performance and providing feedback to seniors.

  • Assisting with performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions when necessary.

  • Identifying training needs within the organization and Coordinating training programs and initiatives.

  • Encouraging continuous learning and career development for employees.

  • Maintaining and updating employee records and databases.

  • Preparing reports and HR-related documentation.

  • Keeping up-to-date with labor laws and regulations.

  • Ensuring the organization's HR practices align with legal requirements.

  • Managing payroll processes, including salary adjustments, bonuses, and deductions.

  • Handling payroll inquiries and resolving discrepancies.

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of workplace safety programs.

  • Conducting safety training and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

  • Generating HR-related reports and analyzing data to make informed decisions.

  • Using data to identify trends and improve HR processes.

  • Mediating conflicts and disputes among employees.

 

Job Requirements:

Languages:      English

Education:       College Diploma 

Experience:     1 year - 2 years 

Wage:             $34.00 to $35.00 per hour / Full time
