Meet with customer, in person, to perform painting estimate.
Accurately measure job
Follow-up with prospective customers (current estimates) by phone or email consistently until the job is secured (landed) or the customer chooses to not have the work completed.
Send thank you letter or email after the estimate is completed.
Ensure all landed jobs are “Handed Off to” the painting production manager.
Communicate the scheduling preferences and needs of the customer to the Owner by making notes in CORE and/or scheduling the job through the Company Calendar.
Upon landing the job, communicate clearly to the steps going forward to the customer.
Demeanor that is friendly and cooperative while maintaining adherence to Fresh Coat Painters of Norman policies and procedures.
Maintain a proper appearance as required by Fresh Coat Painters when interacting with customers or other when generally representing the company. Maintain your company vehicle in a professional manner as required.
A background showing alignment to the company’s culture and Code of Values.
Energetic self-starter with the ability to multitask and possess a get it done attitude.
Is willing and able to follow systems. Be able to accept and respond to suggestions and constructive criticisms in an amicable manner.
Perform other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications other than their own.
Prepare accurate painting estimates per company bid procedures:
Organized, thorough quantity takeoff
Notate all client concerns and repairs or challenges the job may intel.
Complete the bid and sale within the 1.5 hours allotted per appointment.
Arrive on time and complete company provided estimates and develop network of clients and repeat customers.
Participate in negotiating final pricing, contracts, etc., as required.
Coordinate with homeowners, project managers, and painters.
Develop business with new and existing clients and maintain relationships with contacts industry wide.
Perform well under tight deadlines and office stress.
Integrate with the management team in driving sales and growing the company
The perfect candidate will need to have an outgoing personality due to their close connection to our customers.
You will be one of the main faces of Fresh Coat Painters of Norman so how you present yourself and deal with a variety of customers will be extremely important.
