Charge Entry:
Enter charges for medical services provided by healthcare professionals into the billing software.
Ensure that all charges are coded correctly using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
Verify that charges correspond with patient encounters and documentation provided by healthcare providers.
Review and correct any discrepancies in charge entries to prevent billing errors.
Generate and review daily, weekly, and monthly reports on charge entries and demographic data accuracy.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all data entry activities.
